Micromotion of Cementless Hip Prosthesis Under Physiological Loading
Biomechanical testing was completed to assess the micromotion of a new cementless hip prosthesis during single-leg stance and stair climb conditions with ITB simulation.

This work was carried out to assist a PhD project completed by Toby Jameson. The work investigated the stability of cementless hip stems using composite bone models. Different cementless hip stem designs were loaded, and the micromotion and migration of the stem within the composite femure was measured in six degrees of freedom.
